..delightful weekend at gaylord...

unfortunately ray and i had to work that day, then left at 3 to drive to orlando. when we reached the hotel, i was amazed by how beautiful it was. i have never stayed at hotel quite like this. the last fam trip i went on, which was with apple at the royal pacific, was nothing compared to this!!! we had valet as soon as we arrived. when we walked in, in front of us were balconies of rooms under a huge atrium overlooking the "Emerald Bay" and "Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine." on top of the hotel being gorgeous, so was my room AND the view!!! ray and i met up at SS Gaylord over in "Key West" with other AAA employees - had drinks (of course since we were both the younger than everyone, they HAD to ask for our ID). as an ice breaker, we had this guy on stilts make balloon hats - ray was telling me that this is exactly how they are in key west. everyone loved ray's viking hat and sword, as for me, my hat looked like a defected penis...not that i know what that looks like...hahahah!!!! within minutes, the guy on stilts made hats for everyone and we did a photo opt in front of the boat. after that, we were given a chance to walk around the hotel. ray and i got hungry so instead of getting dinner at the resort (it was so expensive), we drove to chickfila. i was on the phone with nate and at the same time, ray asked if we wanted it to go or just eat there...i said, "to go." then he said, "i am not pulling up to that hotel, do valet, and carry a bag of chickfila to a nice ass hotel," lol, so we ended up just eating at chickfila. on the way back to my room, we walked in to this bar and one of the ladies that worked for AAA pulled ray and i freakin' drunk off her ass and was telling us how much of a party poopers our roommates (my roommate and ray's roommate both work from the same office in naples) are because they got into bed so early. i'm tellin' ya, people are so different outside of work when they have a couple drinks in 'em. :\ that was it for the evening. met my roommate, lorena. i was very hesitant meeting her because i didn't know if we would get along, but i'm glad i did. :-) got a surprise gift basket on my "turned down" bed. swwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!
